Pneumothorax

I went in to emerg yesterday afternoon when an unexpected sneeze made my chest pain severely worse. After about 2.5 hours in the urgent care section I had seen a doctor and had x-rays. I was shortly switched over to the actual emergency care section, and told that I had a collapsed lung. Talked to a thoracic surgery resident about an hour later, had a tube stuck into my chest cavity to drain it about an hour later. They had initially thought I'd be in overnight, but I responded well and they sent me home around midnight. I was in the hospital for about 8 hours.
