Guess I gotta post here, right?

Summer and fall of Covid haven't been too bad -- being able to get out climbing most weekends, often twice a weekend, has really helped keep me mentally ok, and I've even recovered from some of my year-of-Covid decline. But, winter is coming... and I'm not looking forward to another Covid winter.

When I am in Halifax, I rely heavily on FB. Not because I like FB but because everyone uses the damn thing. Tried twitter again, and I still don't find it useful. I hope you get lots more good climbing days.

I feel similarly about FB -- not because I like it, but because everyone uses the damn thing. Sometimes I admire foms and his dedication to not succumbing.

I also don't think enough of (y)our friends are likely to be on TikTok for it to be anything like a useful substitute.

At least this COVID-winter includes people being vaccinated? I am not sure where you/your people's comfort levels lie, but hopefully at least some of 'em are vaxxed and okay with socializing with other vaxxed folks?

ETA: also YAY blogging! Several DW friends started posting again due to the FB outage and it was nice. :)

Yeah, the vaccinated thing will help -- small social gatherings will be better than no social gatherings.
