Today, apparently, I decided I needed to relearn humility on 5.8 sport -- so I went to Eastern Block.
I took lead falls at two different points on Mr Clean (5.8), then about 5 tries to make the crux on Ethics Police (also 5.8).

If 5 routes of this wasn't enough, I decide to finish the punishment by trying to lead Coda (5.10a). I repeatedly failed to stand up on the dime-width edge with almost no hands on the water-smoothed slab, so had to pull on a draw. It also took about 4 tries to re-figure out the top.
BUT, it was another gorgeous November day. It is just wrong, or perhaps, oh-so-right, when you are climbing in November, and the wind picks up, and you go, "ah, nice breeze... " as you're sweating on lead.

With especial thanks to my co-worker Shawn, who took my class today so I could, in fact, get out climbing.

Glad you've gotten to enjoy it a bit! Even if it is a bit ominous.
