Also, one of the teams that I trained gave me a thank-you bouquet of flowers. Lovely, lovely thought, but not something I can bring home on a series of international flights. :(

That seems like an impressive amount of out-of-your-way. DEL-YVR and DEL-YOW are, comparatively, very close to the same distance.

Did you get to enjoy the flowers overnight?

Nope, I gave the flowers to another QNX person who was around. Hopefully they gave them to a partner, and that made the partner happy?

And, yeah, a bit out of the way on routing -- but there aren't (as far as I know) any DEL-YOW flights. I think there were DEL-YYZ options, but either they didn't work for time or price.

And if you have to change planes anyways YVR is probably more pleasant than YYZ (but I'm biased re YYZ being annoying)

I don't actually mind YYZ -- at least party because I know my way around. YVR is ok, unless security is backed up, which I've hit once or twice.

I had forgotten the moose. I'd say the moose was more horrible, but also better, as I was able to keep it.

And even better you were abloe to give it to me where I could gleefully enjoy it's awfulness, until I took it to the office Xmas exchange and my coworkers fought over right to take it home.
