Excellent Thanksgiving day!

dagibbsToday has been a most excellent day!
I went climbing at Lac Sam with the daughters (14 and 16) of one of the occasional (historically, once a year) members of my climbing crew. They'd never been outdoor climbing before, and "sort of" been climbing in a gym before. Had never rappelled before... they did all of it. And, as far as I can tell, they had a blast! And, I really like introducing, or helping to introduce, people to climbing.
Also, another pair of people appeared to check out Lac Sam, and I helped them find anchors, and learn their way around, and find the scramble out.
Then, Kate and I went around to the cottage for Thanksgiving dinner with my folks. Nothing like Turkey after a day of climbing!
