Made it to California
Feb. 23rd, 2004 09:54 pmSo, I made to Campbell (California) around 1pm yesterday (Sunday), unfortunately, my luggage didn't make the connection in Philadelphia. Luckily, it wasn't too delayed, and made it to my hotel around 3:30am last night. Better late than never.
I flew USAIR, starting to wonder what the difference between a "full-service" and a non-full-service (budget) airline is. So, 5.5 hour flight Philadelphia to San Francisco, they SELL ($5 or $7) you a meal for extra money (and it's just airline food), they have a movie, but you have to buy the headphones ($5), and if you do, you discover that while the in-flight magazine lists a lot of other channels (like a bunch with music), they don't actually have any music on any of them, just the movie soundtrack. Colour me unimpressed.
