It seems, not surprisingly, that Jasmine watching is the primary entertainment for this week in B.C. For those of you who don't know, or don't recall, Jasmine is my niece who is almost 1 year old, so almost that she will be turning one in just 4 days from now. She seems an adorable and happy child, though I feel this may just be a mask for company. And, she does entertaining things, like drum on a drum, pat her head, point, wander around then land on her butt, and more. Apparently, at least to most of the rest of my family, this is the height of entertainment, and can be watched and enjoyed for hours on end. I don't find her quite so entertaining, sure she's kind of amusing to watch for a few minutes, but not for the extended periods others seem to enjoy. Maybe I'm just grinchly. My family seems to think so. But, children just don't really thrill me.
