I'm home

I'm home... wonder how far behind I am on LJ, now.

It was a good party, got to spend some good time with people I knew (including, but not limitted to: carynb, mycrazyhair, whynotsteve, galadrielsfire, mzrowan, and metalana) and got to meet a few people, (including, but ... to: Marlowe and Joy).

As always, Christina threw a great party... with seeming effortlessness... she seemed to never go near the kitchen, but spend her time socializing with her various groups of guests and yet, drinks got made and drunk, and various hors d'oevres and other food like items appeared and were eaten. It was, really, quite an amazing show of virtuosity on her part.

I had thought we were talking about Sunday (20th) for hiking in the Gatineau. Leolac has it off, and Ali was going to join us. Am I confused? Or, are you just impatient for more hiking, after your long weekend expedition, and aren't sure you can wait until Sunday?

And, yes, hiking is in my calendar for Sunday the 20th. I was figuring afternoon... likely to be a tad warmer, and I'm hosting gaming (yes, decided within the last 10 minutes) the Saturday evening before, so I'm not sure how late that might run... so don't want to be too early.

Maybe meet here for noon? Seems central... you can drive in, Ali can walk over, and we can all switch to one car for the trip up to the Gatineau. Or 1pm, and figure on it being after lunch/brunch. Noonish might be a tad early, unless we'd be planning to pack a picnic, hike to somewhere nice, and eat out there. (Though, it could be brrish to eat outside this time of year.) I hope the weather is nice.
