Climbing day 1
Dec. 19th, 2014 08:48 pmI think I forgot my camera in Ottawa. Doh!
We climbed mostly single-pitch not-too-hard stuff, and I thought mostly stuff I'd climbed before. Turns out one climb was an on-sight, and 2 other climbs were red-points. Cool. Also, took Maria up her first multi-pitch, and was my first time leading any of that climb (I'd followed both pitches last time down here.) The climb is listed as 5.7, 5.7 -- but climbing it, I'd say 5.3, 5.6. Fun climb, that ends on the top of a detached pillar, which is kind of neat.
