L1 US entry visa

I now have an L1 US entry visa -- this means that I can officially enter the US for purposes of work for the next 3 years. w00t.

I assume your employer arranged this? How difficult was it?

Yes, my employer arranged for it. I have no idea how much lawyer work went on to setup the papers I needed to take to the border, but at the border it went smoothly and quickly. But I have 20 years experience at QNX, and it was a visa requested based on technical knowledge/expertise in the field -- I don't know how easy/difficult it would be for anyone else.
