Drinking coffee without spilling (too much), trying to eat soup without wearing it, all are a challenge right now.

Yes, I had a dentist appointment this morning -- was supposed to just be a cleaning and check up, but they found a place where some work needed to be done. A tooth with an inlay was developing a gap between the inlay and the tooth, so a repair job was needed. The dentist was available about 10 minutes after I was done my appointment, or so I was told, was actually about 1/2 an hour later, but still meant that it didn't tear up another morning. Also means that part of my face is frozen, and I'm having soup for lunch cause it's soft food.

In other, related, news... on the side of not freezing, I've got a brand new high-efficiency furnace installed. That chewed up most of yesterday.

Also, went out for dinner (curry), then later gelato, with the new room-mate yesterday evening. Was nice, and we all seem to be getting along pretty well. And she hasn't even teased us (leolac and me) about noise levels. Yay!
