Day 10 - mostly a rest day

We got up early, as normal, and headed into J-Tree. I tried the start of Bat Crack (5.5), but after getting one piece in, couldn't figure out how to proceed, so backed off. Then lead a 5.3. At the top of this, it started to mist, so we walked off, rather than doing another 5.3 upwards from that ledge. We walked around a bit, locating climbs, then back to the motel by way of grocery shopping. The weather was supposed to clear around 1-2pm, but it still looked pretty dark up in the park when I checked around 1:30, and even if it did clear, that would still leave a lot of damp rock. Not something I want to be climbing on when a lot of the climbing is friction slab. So, other than the one short climb, today is going to end up a rest day.
