Yesterday, after taking the red-eye home from California, I took a nap, packed, picked up figure--it--out and drove to Sudbury. Today, we made it the rest of the way to Thunder Bay. The big surprise of the drive -- the approach to Sudbury no longer looks like a moon-scape! There's green, not very thick, and rock still shows through a lot, but mostly it is green.

Not surprisingly, we also saw a bunch of cliffs, especially as we got more along the north shore. And, yes, there's some gorgeous scenery along the drive.

We also found an Indian & Thai restaurant -- though it feels far more Indian in style. The food was good, though.

Tomorrow, Sleeping Giant park, at least for hiking and maybe for climbing, too.

Actually, by the time I posted this, I had driven to Thunder Bay. Yup. It is a long drive, but I do long drives.
