And, there was gaming...
May. 14th, 2011 11:56 pmLet's see... metawidget showed up first, we were just setting up Samurai when jacomothefool joined us, so we played 3 player (me). kali_kali showed up just as that was ending, and since metawidget had suggested he wanted to play Brass, we pulled out a 4-player game of that (me). We finished that around 5pm, and also had a tchang and arnis show up -- so we played a round of Ricochet Robots (me) while dinner time approached. jacomo left, beable showed up and we headed off to dinner at the Koreana, to be joined there by ironphoenix and notsoholygrail. After dinner, we split into two groups, which played Age of Steam (ironphoenix) and Goa (me). Also, mid-way through the evening, raynedaze showed up for tea and chatting (and she was beading, rather than gaming, since she doesn't game).
It was a good day of gaming. :)

Date: 2011-05-16 04:55 am (UTC)Oh, I found something really nice-looking own here: Balvenie 17 year old Caribbean Rum finish (http://www.whatdoesjohnknow.com/2008/09/09/review-balvenie-rum-cask-17-yr-old/) for $60 (Cdn!). Really tempted, as it's dicontinued and the LCBO has it for $100, in the few non-Ottawa places that has some...
