Bike back

Finally got my bike back from the shop -- had to wait for a part for a while. It is once again running without steam pouring out from the engine. Yay. Also, now have a throttlemeister throttle-lock installed, so my right-hand will get occasional chances to relax on long trips. :) And it's a beautiful day, too.

It is a Kawasaki Concours (http://www.roxbox.dk/picpages/kawa/touring/conco.htm). (Though, if you click through the link, it will be called a 1000 GTR, while in Canada it is called a ZG1000.)

So, how do you want to do this maritimes trip?

I have the whole week of June 5-12 to play with, but I will not be starting from or returning to my house. I'll be in TN on June 4, and I need to be in the Boston area by June 13.

The Bar Harbor to Nova Scotia ferry (http://www.catferry.com/) seems like the best option.

It's Maine -> Nova Scotia runs depart at 08:00, though I can't tell if that is start of loading time, or if that is actual departure time, so not sure when we'd have to actually be at the ferry dock. (I'm sure if I call and make a reservation, the person handling the reservation could tell me.)

Ferries back to Maine depart at 16:30 on Saturday, and 13:00 or 20:45 on Sunday.

My thought would be to meet Wednesday evening, June 8th, in Bar Harbor, and overnight there. Catch the early morning ferry across, have Thursday afternoon, Friday, and Saturday in Nova Scotia, and then take the Sunday 1300 ferry back to Maine, I'd ride home from Maine, and you'd head down to Boston. This would give us a comfortable 2 and 1/2 days in Nova Scotia.

Also, do you want to try and pre-find somewhere to stay in Nova Scotia, or just see where we end up and find somewhere on the fly?
