Exhausted -- but what a weekend!

It's only 7pm, I shouldn't be this tired, but it has been a weekend!
Friday was a pumpkin-carving party chez metawidget and rottenfruit. Didn't know anyone but the hosts, and hope I didn't freak anyone out too much with a comment that revealed I was poly (explaining how I came to start climbing, which involved the boyfriend of my then-girlfriend). Home, then internet, and bed by 2am or so.
Saturday morning, up and some shopping done. Gaming at 1pm -- though it was a bit thin until about 4pm with jagash and me. We played a pair of games of Mr Jack, and a game of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the Scoobies won). Then foms and ragnhildr showed up, followed after not-too-long by clinkerfiasco. We played a All Wound Up -- a game with wind-up monsters. Finally, then a game of Fuggi Fuggi (Fearsome Floors). Finally after a bit of food, and a couple more people showed up, we got a game of Betrayal at the House on the Hill in, in which the haunt failed. That was a lot of Hallowe'en themed games!
The evening party was awesome, starting a bit early, and running until almost 5am. There was a great amount of wonderful stuff consumed, included some very good cheeses, a lot of Rye Triscuits (I think 3 boxes worth), much good chocolate, several good Ports, some good Scotch, and a couple of other interesting drinks including a Muscat and a plum wine. (Thank you to everyone who contributed to the party, whether by bringing something to the party, or by harvesting empty glasses to the kitchen.) There was also good conversation, cuddling, flirting, singing, and even some dancing.
This morning, I was up at 9am, and out to Barrhaven to have breakfast with Tasha and Allan, then out to Calabogie where I spent the afternoon rock climbing. Didn't climb anything that really pushed things, except the new route we were trying out (it didn't go, but we think it might, with cleaning). Still, tiring on limited sleep.
Now, I'm a tired David. I've still got some party cleanup to do, too.
And, tomorrow, off to Michigan for the rest of the week. (Business trip.)
