dagibbsI went hiking with iclysdale this evening -- picked him up around 5pm, and were on the trail shortly after 5:30pm. We made it up the escarpment, bushwhacking, for arrival at the Champlain lookout at 6:30pm, then back down again a little after 7pm, when we decided we still had light, and were on a trail, so would go up to the Shrine boulders, about 2/3 of the way back up the escarpment. I decided to power up this time, so we kept a really strong pace. Sped it up even more on the way back down, and were back to the car for just short of 8pm. Then, showers and dinner at the Yang Sheng, definitely in that order.
