Room-mates

Cause, apparently, I forget to tell people stuff.

I have two room-mates, now. One moved in about a month ago (while I was off in Switzerland) and the other moved in a few months ago. Both are baby-dykes, but are not together. Yes, drama happens. No, it isn't MY drama, so it doesn't bother me. Yes, I now assume house phone calls are for them, not me. I'm usually right on this, too.

I think you can be forgiven for forgetting a few things. you've been kinda busy. Is the information a bit more available to those living in the same house? I remember how I ended up getting an LJ account because my housemates would forget to tell me stuff that was on their Lj's...

Well, I'm pretty sure that everyone living here actually knows who is living here. :)

They're both young enough, though, that if I wanted them to know stuff, I'd have to use Facebook instead of LJ.

At least you got the most important thing covered.

so far, I've managed to avoid both Myspace and Facebook and have no plans to change that. Especially Facebook. I like my relative obscurity.

I am amused by that limitation.

Also, for cognitive dissonance, I had just finished reading a James Nicholl post, hit refresh on my LJ, saw your post without seeing the icon or name next to it and assumed it was one of his. It seemed an extremely unusual, not to mention unlikely, post for him.

From you it makes much more sense.

Just because I keep forgetting - what is the remote possibility that I would be able to rent parking from you Monday-Friday 8-5ish for October, November and part of December?

My work is moving to Bronson and Albert and I'm not about to pay $180/month for parking.

The main issue would be car juggling in the morning -- I don't usually leave for work before 8am, often more like 9-9:30. Do you have a spare set of keys you could leave with me so I can switch cars in the driveway, should I need to do so? (There shouldn't be enough snow to worry about before mid-December. If it were into the winter, there would, also, be the issue of extra shoveling.)

Does $40/month sound reasonable?

Yeah, it would be a bit odd from James.

$40/month is definitely reasonable and I'll make sure there's spare keys for you - car juggling was my main concern

If the weather is good, and you park tight to the right side of the driveway, right at the bottom, there is a good chance I can get the motorcycle by without juggling, too.

Remind me when we get closer to October. For getting keys to me, an easy way is to drop them through my mail slot.

Will do - it's basically going to be from October 1st until I go on maternity leave.
