Last airport -> Ottawa bus. 10:55pm. My arrival at airport: 11:03pm. Doh.

At least I already have a hotel in Montreal for Thursday night. :)

I wonder if the hotel has a shuttle bus? More reasearch...

I can, maybe, stand-by an earlier flight... that would work better. Won't know on that until tomorrow, though.

Is there a later bus to Ottawa from downtown? I finish work at 11 and could be at the airport by 11:30.

There is a midnight bus from downtown, but I wouldn't want to depend on catching it.

Any of those options are okay with me. My home phone is 514-488-9884. Mel has a cell for the weekend, but I have to check with her before giving it out. I'm leaving the house in an hour or so and won't be back till late tonight.

When you say midnight Thursday, do you mean the midnight that is about to happen, or the one that happens between Thursday and Friday?

I mean the midnight between Thursday & Friday. The one that is about to happen -- I'll be getting up one hour after that in Geneva (here).

To be more precise, my flight gets in at 23:08 on Thu Aug 6, 2009. There is a midnight, that night, bus from downtown.

I will call your home number & leave a message if I get the standby on the earlier flight, so you don't look for me at the airport.

If you do pick me up, we can figure out at that time which way to go. Will probably depend on how tired we both are. I do, now, have clothes coming to Montreal, so I don't absolutely have to get back to Ottawa.

Still will have to figure out how to get home on the Monday, though, if I don't pick up a vehicle in Ottawa. Train or bus could both work. Will have way too much luggage by then, though.
