Had a great time at succulentpoet's housecooling party last night. Arrived at a time I thought was fashionably late -- around 8:45pm (invite was for 8pm) only to find that I was the 3rd guest to arrive and that, really, I was a bit on the early side. Luckily, one of the other early guests was someone I knew. People were friendly, and while there was drama, none of the drama involved me, so that was ok.

An amazing number of people were drinking Strongbow.

Hm... maybe she'll throw a housewarming party in her new place, soon. :)

I'm always so very grateful when the drama has nothing to do with me. It's part of that "I'm almost a grownup" sorta thing.

Well, grownups can have drama, too. But, yeah, was nice that it wasn't my drama. And, I think I was probably the oldest person at the party. It was mostly a early to mid 20s crowd, though with a reasonable tail off into the early 30s. And me.
