Back from Mexico

My flights went pretty smoothly, though apparently a half dozen spring-loaded camming devices are not allowed in your carry on. I had to exit security & go back and pack them up and check them. Also, amusingly, undersized objects also arrived (at least in Ottawa) on the "overside" luggage area.

I did sit beside an adorably cute and very well behaved baby girl, and her mother, on the trip from Detroit. Ended up chatting with the mother the whole flight, which is unusual for me. Of course, I ran out of book between Monterey and Detroit, so that might have been part of the cause.
