Things are looking up...

My luggage has arrived. Yay! I can stop wearing the same pair of pants. (I bought a pair of underwear, socks and a shirt yesterday.)

And, I've got internet access in my room. Someone loaned me a USB cellular modem, so I can go online from my room.

All that's left is to figure out how to make a call. Apparently I have to call the operator and have them put me through. *sigh* I'd far rather just dial myself, then if I don't get through, I haven't inconvenienced anyone else.

P.S. date stamps on these entries may be odd... I'm flipping my computer clock to/from EST/India time. I wish LJ would just do dates in GMT, and let everyone client-side convert if they want to.

Hope all goes well! Don't forget LJ may be down for a bit today, for a server migration (or physical relocation or something).
