I would have preferred house gaming actually. I have a very hard time absorbing the rules when they are listed at the beginning of the game, and so would prefer a practice round or two with someone akin to a tutor - something you can't find at a convention.
Also, a brand-new game, with getting exhausted from rule-learning, should not last four hours...especially for me. I find myself trying to find creative and discrete ways to throw the game so that I could get out of it sooner. 1-2 hours is enough.
I don't know how I am going to get through the other five time-slots I have organised for myself.
Anyway, that's my ranting. I'm exhausted, frustrated that I can't really learn the games, and sick of being sick (which has nothing really to do with this weekend, but keeps me from getting work done in between gaming sessions as I want to take naps instead).
