Climbing -- good & bad

I finally got back out climbing today after two weeks off. I only ended up bouldering, cause when I went to pick up the guy I was going to climb with, he wasn't home. Oops.
I climbed for about 1.5 hours, before my hands started screaming at me too loudly. All those wonderful calluses I'd built up -- they're mostly gone. Argh. Also, my right knee has been twinging for the last few days, and got unhappier. Luckily I won't be climbing again until Tuesday, so it should get a chance to recover.
When I got home, gabriel_le told me I had a package delivery notice. I picked that up and found it was from my sister, C. Upon opening, it was a climbing care-package. Her partner (my brother-in-law, R) is seriously into mountain-climbing, has instructed ice-climbing, and he loaned me several books on climbing that he recommends. He also gave me a few items, including a rope bag. And, offered to teach me more about climbing when he's in Ottawa (at our parents' cottage) over the summer. Coolness!
