First international trip in years!

I'm on my way to Spain for a week of climbing on the Costa Blanca with Phil.

And, I'm glad of my usual be-early-not-late policy. When I got to the airport I was told that I needed to fill in a passenger-tracking form for Belgium even though I was in transit -- but last night when I checked what forms I needed, Air Canada's information was that I didn't need this if in-transit less than 48 hours. Glad that extra delay to find and do the form didn't push me past check-in time!

Thumb news

I forgot to post this to DW! But, on Monday at the climbing gym I rammed my thumb into a hold while trying to dyno to it. OUCH! It was swollen, and purple, and all sorts of good stuff. I had worried for climbing this coming week.

But, it has mostly been recovering pretty well, actually. But, apparently it does not like entering text on my phone. Which, mostly, I don't do a lot... until I had to find and fill out a passenger-tracking form for Belgium while in the middle of checking-in for my flight.
