another climbing day -- but with snakes
May. 9th, 2021 11:24 pmWent to Lac Sam with Su, and Thomas was supposed to join us... but he got turned back at the border.
On one of the routes, we ran into snakes -- not 2, not even 3 or 4 but FIVE SNAKES. 4 were sunning themselves on a small ledge, the fifth was buried almost completely in a crack about a foot above the other four.
My best guess is that they were milk snakes.
