Amsterdam

I've made it to Amsterdam, and even got a bit of sleep. It even looks likely I'll be home today.

In middle-class-people's problems, it looks like this re-routing will probably cost me something like 10K air miles, and likely 100K elite status on Air Canada. Yes, the Jet Airways people said I'll still be able to get the air miles, because they code-share with Air Canada, but I don't believe them. Especially as it looks like my flight to Toronto will be a KLM code-share.

At 1910. So, another 3 hours waiting in Toronto. The person at the elite/business class check-in apparently couldn't deal with the complications that had happenned to my flight, and sent me to ticketing. The guy at ticketing says everybody with the slightest problem anywhere in the terminal gets sent to ticketing, whether they need to or not. If I hadn't, I might have made the 1610 flight out of TO, instead of being 3 hours later. At least there's always another flight from TO to Ottawa.

I've now been in airports/airplanes for about 40 hours now, and it looks like it will be about 45 by the time I get home. I feel grubby and stinky.
