Climbing at Calabogie, again.
Nov. 5th, 2016 08:34 pmThis morning I was worried it would be another completely grey day at Calabogie -- though, at least, warmer than last Sunday. But, the sun did pop out a couple times during the day, then visited for an extended period right near the end of the day, which was quite nice. I even took my sweater off part way up a climb.
Also, several friends didn't find me at the cliff, despite planning to do so. I was exactly where I said I'd be -- the "far end". They just didn't know the cliff went as far as it actually did. Two of them did find me, once they'd finished climbing, and decided to go for a hike. Now they know there's a lot more climbing than they had previously thought, too.
Calabogie is developing into quite a nice little crag, actually. Lots of good climbs there.
