Headed homewared...
Mar. 19th, 2016 03:07 pmI'm currently in Vancouver, preparatory to a morning flight home, tomorrow. I will, hopefully, be home by about dinner time.
We have an excellent week of skiing at Blackcomb (Whistler) -- a good solid dump of snow on Saturday, along with a little more Sunday and Monday made for good conditions. The temperature was always moderate, and we had bright sunny ski days for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
I am, not unsurprisingly, skiing as well as I used to ski. I now only ski on my once-a-year ski-trip, so generally about 5 days a year. Still, by the end of the week I was doing much better than at the start of the week, and I'm reasonably happy with how I was skiing, all told. And, most importantly, I quite enjoyed things.
