Squamish day 1
Aug. 22nd, 2015 09:11 pmClimbing at the Smoke Bluffs with David (partner for the week) and Glauco.
Sour Grass (5.7 Trad)
High Boltage Line (5.10a sport; hang dog; used gear to protect high first bolt)
Bilbo Baggins (5.8 trad; felt easier than Sour Grass, told it is soft)
Truck Stop (5.7 trad )
Libya Sucks (5.7 trad; opening moves were about 5.9+)
Nookie Monster (5.10a TR clean)
White Line Fever (5.8 trad)
The Alexis Cracks (5.7 Trad x 2 - 2 short cracks)
White Streak (5.10c TR - couldn't get off the ground)
Grades feel comparable to Montagne d'Argent grades - modern sport grades. Though, neither of the 5.8s had anything as hard as the crux on T'n'A at Lac Sam. So, maybe a touch soft?
