There was gaming!

Gaming started with the planned Indonesia -- foms, beable and me -- and a side-table of Terra Mystica then a dice-pool building game whose name I can't bring to mind. A couple people left & joined around dinner time. After dinner we started a 4-player game of Brass (foms, beable, niall__ and me) with a side 2-player game of Ora et Labora (which I did a rules explanation for). After Brass wrapped up around midnight beable suggested another game... and I took her up on it. So I taught Antiquity which we wrapped up around 5am.
