Winding up visit to Boston area...
Nov. 20th, 2014 10:03 pmThe training went well, though with LOTS of questions and discussions from the customer. They're looking at pushing the boundaries on what people normally do pretty heavily -- we'll have to see how that works out for them, but it meant a lot of strange and different questions and discussions. Also, they seem to not be conclusive in what they want -- it feels like there were about 3-4 different factions of opinion on which way to proceed.
I got to see
ladysprite last night for a late dinner, and that was wonderful. I don't get to see her often enough -- distant cities will do that. Well, also Arisia and Confusion running on the same weekend the last couple years has sucked for that, too.
This evening I've relocated from my hotel in Chelmsford to one closer to the airport for my morning flight tomorrow. I did not want to fight Boston rush-hour traffic to make a 9:30am flight tomorrow. On the way, I stopped at the Boston Rock Gym for a bit of climbing. I did a bunch of their routes on auto-belay, which was good. But, over-all, I'd say the gym is kind of meh. And, I saw some pretty hideous belaying, too.
Tomorrow, home again. Likely until I head to Mexico just before Christmas.
