Another gorgeous weekend
Jun. 2nd, 2014 11:24 amIt was a gorgeous spring weekend -- sunny, clear, and not too hot. Even the bugs weren't TOO bad.
Saturday morning 4 of us (Ariela, Hue, Suzanne, and me) met up at my house to head up to the Luskville area (Western Cwm) to climb, but unfortunately ran into closed roads (Ride for Dad, I think) so weren't able to get across the river. Instead, we headed out to Calabogie. The hike in is still a bit wet, but a lot better than it was last week. We got in a good number of climbs, and had a great day.
Sunday Phil was back in town. We met up, and returned his hire-car, then drove out to Mont Rigaud where Bruce, Chantalle, Noah, and Etienne joined us for a day of climbing. We had a really good day there, then headed back to the city.
I'm still feeling out-of-shape, but hope with ongoing climbing & other activity, I will improve again.
