Arrived in Bellevue

I've successfully arrived in Bellevue, with luggage. Trip was the expected level of comfort, or discomfort, depending on your view.

I am, somewhat surprisingly, staying at a hotel that is an independent -- not many of them around any more.

I went outdoor rock climbing in a local park. Ok, it was artificial rock, mostly, made of concrete (over styrofoam? Looked like it. Is that a thing?) The mostly artificial -- in places there were bits of real rock embedded to add texture.

And, it was a lovely evening -- warm, sunny, and outside. Had to be about 21C (70 F) outside when we started. Dropped a few degrees by dusk.

Was climbing with Will, a local to this area that I met last fall at the American Alpine Club's ICM not in Yosemite. (I'm thinking of going again this year, with the hope that it will actually occur in Yosemite.)
