Fewer people than last Saturday -- just one table all day and evening, but a good day of gaming none the less.

Started with Set (Antra), then Ricochet Robots (4-way tie). Then we played Eclipse, which most of us had not played before -- though we didn't finish. I've been interested in giving it a try, since it looked like an interesting game, and is well rated (#7) on BGG. I'd like to give it another try... not quite sure. It may have too much luck for me, but we'll have to see. Finally a bit of Ca$h'n'Gun$ before dinner (beable & me tie, beable). After dinner a quick game of Set (Antra/me), then Medici (foms). Finally, a game of Terra Mystica (me, followed by beable who was first of the 3 learning the game by a good margin).

To make up for the very sedentary Saturday, I've had a fairly active and fun Sunday.

Ok, it wasn't the plan/hope I had when I looked at today's forecast last Monday. It was supposed to be sunny, clear, with a high of 7C. I was thinking outdoor climbing. Instead, we had several inches of packing snow on the ground.

So, in the morning I went to the acro-yoga jam, which was a good time. I'm not doing a lot of acro, but I am continuing to improve, especially as a base, which I'm happy about.

After acro, a few of us went for lunch at Chez Lucien, which is just around the corner from the Upward Dog yoga studio. Sadly, we had the world's slowest service. My burger arrived completely cold. If we hadn't already waited too long, I'd have sent it back. I think it could have been delicious, but not cold.

Then, we went and played in the snow. We tried to make acro-yoga people, but discovered that trying to put a flyer up on a base was tricky. So, we made a good-sized snowperson. Ok, with the really bushy eyebrows, I'm pretty sure it was a snowman. As we were putting on the features, we heard a shout from a nearby apartment building balcony, and somebody threw us down a carrot for the nose. Sometimes people are awesome.

Then after fun in the snow, Paul, Ariela, and I headed off to Altitude for some climbing. I've not been climbing all that well lately (where lately is the last several months), but I was pretty happy with how the session at Altitude went.
