A weekend of MUCH gaming
Mar. 2nd, 2014 09:50 pmI started with Medici and lunch at work on Friday, a 5-player game of that. Then, Friday evening, I played a couple games of Tsuro with figure_it_out.
Saturday I went off to the home of Dan, someone who was hosting games that I was connected to through Beats & Boards. We played 18AL (a somewhat shorter 18xx game set in Alabama, which I won), two games of Coup (a fun, quick bluffing game, of which I won one), and a game of Brass (me). It was then late enough for Dan (the host) to be done, so we re-convened to my place for a game of Mage Knight (learning game, slightly shortened, finishing at 3:15am or so, which I won).
I missed acro-yoga in the morning, not surprisingly. Today, Jens is the only person who showed up close to on time, so we played 3 games of Samurai (2 me, 1 him) and 3 games of San Juan (again, 2 and 1) before beable showed up. The three of us played Before the Wind (new to me, it is an interesting game... we all quite liked it, Jens won). Then beable and I were joined by foms and con_girl for dinner at the Koreana. After dinner, beable and I had a quick game of San Juan (beable) while waiting for Antra. We were looking at a 2-3 hour game at that point, and chose Brass (me) as a game we all liked, all knew, and which would fit in that time frame.
So, all told from Friday evening onwards, I've played some 16 games this weekend.
