More climbing, and an adventure
Oct. 3rd, 2013 11:27 pmWe decided to do a classic two-climb link up today: Surrealistic Pillar (5.7, 110m, 3 pitches) on Lower Buttress, then walk up to the base of Main Wall and climb Corrugation Corner (5.7, 135m, 3 pitches). Both classic climbs. It was awesome climbing -- both routes are really great.
But, there was a pair ahead of us on the second climb, which slowed us down, and so we finished that climbed after the sun had set -- and still had a walk-off descent to do. Took a wrong branch on that, and ended up doing a couple hours of after-dark hiking.
Definitely quite the day.
