Timing is everything
Sep. 12th, 2012 09:44 pmI went out climbing after work today with Hue and (IIRC) her boyfriend's cousin, whose name was Mike. We went out to Calabogie, and were joined out there by Michelle and her boyfriend Mike. (Lots of Mich... names, none of which I'd met before today.) We had a good time, got in a few climbs, including a red-point for me.
When we got back to QNX, to spread out to our own cars, just as we were getting in to our cars a fireworks display started close by -- might have been a couple buildings over, or maybe at the golf course, hard to tell. Of course, we all stood outside our cars, leaning on them, to watch the fireworks until they end. A little bit earlier, and we'd have missed them and never known we missed them.
