Back in Canada

I'm not home yet, but I'm back in Canada which is almost as important. I'm in the Air Canada lounge in Pearson (YYZ) waiting for the flight to Ottawa. I should be landing in a couple hours, and home shortly thereafter.

This morning was way too early -- 6:30am flight out of Dallas/Fort Worth, which meant getting up at (ugh) 4am. I did try to sleep on the plane, and I think I managed to doze a bit, though not really sleep. Perhaps I won't be up too late tonight.

Dallas was generally quiet, though markbhall just happened to be in town Wednesday/Thursday for an architecture conference, so we met up for dinner on Wednesday, which was a nice highlight.

Next week, I'm in Ottawa, then Chicago -- where I'll get to hang around for Windycon. After that, I have a short trip to Waterloo in late November, and maybe nothing else until Christmas. I can dream, right? :)

And, actually, home.

Yay home.

I am, unfortunately, short a spring/fall jacket from the trip, though. I left it in the Air Canada lounge here in Ottawa on the way out, and it seems to have disappeared. We'll see if it magically re-appears.
