Just read...

I read This Is Not a Game by Walter Jon Williams last night, and was a bit disappointed. It wasn't that it was a bad book -- it was quite enjoyable and everything, but I think I have come to expect more from WJW. Also, I think I might have been more impressed if I had not just recently read Halting State by Charles Stross. Both cover similar ground, but I think Stross did a better job, and did it first.
