So I'm feeling a bit stiff today from the climbing on the weekend -- and thinking, I only did 3 climbs on Saturday and 1 on Sunday -- that's not very much climbing.

Then, I think again... 3 on Saturday were about 45m, 40m, and 60m. That's 145m -- Coyote is about 7m up, so we're talking about 20 climbs at Coyote. That's a bit more respectable. Then, there is the down-climbs. Two of those. (We rappelled one time.) Saturday's down climbs weren't too bad, actually.

Sunday -- one route, but it was 110m. I led about 50m of it, more than half the tougher stuff. (There was about 15m of easy scramble at the top.) And the down-climb was quite nasty. (Someone slipped and hurt themselves pretty badly on that downclimb the previous weekend.) I found the down-climb far more scary than the lead -- no protection, dirty rock, and you're doing it with a pack on with rope and stuff in the pack. (iclysdale has hiked with me, he has some idea of what I'm comfortable on, ask him what this down climb was like if I'm saying it made me very unhappy and uncomfortable, at several places.)
