What an awesome day of climbing!
Oct. 12th, 2008 10:36 pmI went out to Calabogie (Main Cliff) again today, with a group of 5 people, and met up with two more from the ACC. The weather was awesome -- sunny, moderate only getting a bit warm by late afternoon. The company was good.
And, I felt like I was climbing well. I did "Grunt" (5.9) cleanly after setting up the rope for it, as well as finishing "Phasers on Kill" (5.7, but we think it is really 5.8+ since I think it was a harder climb than "Grunt") which I wasn't able to complete last time I was out there. I also did a tougher variant of "Phasers", and finished the tough top section of "Cool But Concerned" (5.8) up the thin crack that (again) I'd bailed on last time I was out.
