Arrived in Mexico! Yay!
Jan. 20th, 2008 10:52 pmI have arrived successfully at my hotel in Mexico, in the town of Queretaro (with an accent on the 2nd e that I don't want to try to create.)
Interestingly, the hotel elevator went down to my room... the hotel is built on a hillside, with access from the top, and the rooms down the hillside. I expect the view out my window, come morning, will be quite nice. :)
Morning will, though, come far too early.
And, I just checked the exchange rate. I had guessed, based on the taxi ride to the hotel costing 250 pesos (and my taxi to the airport in Ottawa costing $25) that it was about 10:1, looks like official rate is about 10.6:1.
