climbing and cold
Aug. 6th, 2007 10:38 pmI went climbing at a gym in Carmel (suburb of Indianapolis) today. It was a smallish gym, and not a lot of height -- but they'd done some very interesting route setting with what they had, using some long traverses to augment the length of routes, or working them back and forth accross features. Also, most of their walls were overhanging. Unfortunately, many of their routes seemed unrated, at least I didn't see anything with a rating below 5.9. The 5.9s I played on did seem a bit tougher than Coyote -- but hard to say for sure with a sample of 2, as there are 5.9s at Coyote that I have problems with.
Also, I seem to have a mild sore throat and head ache. gabriel_le was a bit sick over the weekend, and I'm afraid I've caught her cold. I've gone and grab some OJ, hoping that will help me beat this back into submission, and that I don't have to use heavy drugs to survive the training this week.
