Back at it
Apr. 3rd, 2007 10:58 pmMy climbing on Saturday, after the two weeks off was a bit rough. Today, though, I felt a lot better. I was still able to smoothly do a 5.10a that I had done before, did a new 5.9+ (though with a bit of trouble on one move), and otherwise felt happy with my climbing. My hands are still a bit more roughed up than normal, but not so bad as Saturday, either. I think, at least partially, because I did more routes and less bouldering this time. Though, I did climb for longer -- a solid 2.5 hours, rather than about 1.5 hours on Saturday.
My right knee has been twinging the last week or so, too. (I've damaged both my knees. Sometimes they bother me, sometimes they don't.) I was worried about it, but I didn't notice any problems with it while climbing today, and it feels no worse now than before I climbed, so that seems to be a good sign.
Now, to see how climbing on Thursday goes.
