Went out climbing this evening, and I am definitely much improved! I climbed 3 5.9s, 1 route that I've been struggling with for several months, sometimes making it one hold farther, and until now being stuck at a certain point, I finished, in one complete climb from the bottom. The other two 5.9s I worked on, one I fell off at one point, and then finished from there, the other took several tries at the crux point. And, one route I'd been struggling with (and barely finished just before my most recent trip), but which had not previously been rated, is now rated as a 5.9, too. I also finished a bouldering route that I hadn't finished before, and that was when I was tired after climbing, rather than when I was fresh. I guess it is time to start eyeing the 5.10s. :)
