First we painted. Ok, first we cuddled then we breakfasted, then we went over and did a bunch of painting. ragnhildr picked out some very nice colours, and we coated many walls, and occasional ceiling bits (some on purpose) with pretty coloured paints. Then we went over to foms' and con_girl's place, where foms fed us some dinner. And, several games were played, including Set (which con_girl declared she needed to own), Thurn and Taxis (where gabriel_le beat me, darn her anyway), Ticket to Ride (where my destination cards led to triumph) and Spank the Monkey (where ragnhildr succeeded in spanking the primate, which gabriel_le unfortunately discoverd was a gorilla not a monkey as we'd all originally thought). [edit] We also played Hey, That's My Fish (where I ate huge wockets of fish).[/edit]

And, I managed to forget my travelling pile of games (smaller variant) at their house. Oops. Hopefully they can be retrieved tomorrow, when I see them at dinner.

I got back out to Coyote in Ottawa this afternoon. It is kind of nice to come back to a "benchmark" and to find that I seem to have continued to improve in my absence. I was (mostly) bouldering, but was able to do a route I hadn't done before (able) and to do more smoothly, cleanly, and with less wasted effort several routes I had been able to do before. I also climbed a couple routes that had been put up -- a 5.7 that I went up with ease, and a 5.9 where I got as far as the last move, and got stuck there. I didn't spend too much time on it, since it was a casual belay from someone I'd met there, and I'd already had to wait for another climber where two routes overlapped.

Now, off to shower and dinner.

So, I've finally got some pictures of me climbing. (Yes, I'll get around to posting them, once I've edited and cropped, and rotated them, etc.) But, I'd like to create a climbing icon using a few of them, in rotation. So, can anyone suggest software for creating an animated icon?

The software should be: useable on Windows, freeware (preferable) or shareware, and relatively easy to use to do this particular task.

Thanks.
