Dinner in SF with "Canadians"
Oct. 19th, 2006 11:01 pmSo, I joined
netmouse and a collection of, supposedly, Canadians at the conference she was at who were all getting together for dinner. In the little group I ended up chatting with was me (actually a Canadian, but not at the conference), netmouse (who did a Masters in Waterloo), a guy from Idaho who did a PHD at Carleton, and a woman from the U.K. who would like to emigrate to Canada, with the primary given reason being for the skiing. But, non of them actually Canadians. Still, there was good conversation, and the food was decent, too. Ok, the soup (a vegetarian lentil stew) was excellent and the Salmon was decent.
And, it's better than eating alone.
