Arrived alive

And, here I am in Vancouver. Silly airporter bus drives within on block of the Holiday Inn, but doesn't go to it -- no it, loops back around 20 minutes later. Once I realized this, I got off at the next hotel, 3 blocks away, rather than sit on the bus for a 20-minute tour of downtown Vancouver.

And, soon, dinner with succulentpoet! Yay! To prevent lost-ness she's meeting me at my hotel in 20 minutes or so. And, on Wednesday will be taking me to an 80s night run/organised by her guy, and apparently I will also meet his kids and his mother. And she'll meet his mother. I think this bothers her far more than it does me. :)
