Gaming happened!

So, I was planning to write up my trip this evening, but it was just too busy with social and gaming time.

raynedaze and friend dropped by to drop off some stuff, and while they were here, both my sisters and niece showed up, to borrow my car. Agreed to Pho for dinner with Rayne, and she wandered off, then I chatted with my sisters for a while. Off to Pho, to meet Rayne, walk in and see iclysdale and a couple of other familiar faces -- so have dinner with them. Then, we wander off towards gelato, and see con_girl, ragnhildr, and foms walking the other way. So, I draft foms and ragnhildr for gaming. We played Puerto Rico (foms' first game), won by me, then a game of Tikal -- where we decided to try the advanced variant, in which you auction turn order with victory points. foms and ragnhildr both finished exactly where they started the game, an even (1)20, and I didn't make the perfect circuit with an unfortunate win.

Yay gaming. So much for getting useful stuff done -- like getting caught up on my LJ, email, or laundry.
